God kamp!

Teknatool does not publish an official wiring diagram for the NOVA Comet II Midi Lathe. The manufacturer classifies the control box as a "Y-Type Appliance," meaning all electrical components and internal wiring are restricted to factory-only service. Furthermore, Teknatool often utilizes monochromatic (same color) wiring inside the switchbox, making visual diagrams difficult to standardize. However, if you are attempting to diagnose a power fault, replace a broken On/Off switch, or wire a replacement Permanent Magnet DC (PMDC) controller, you can use the standard schematic logic outlined below. 1. Main Power Switch Connection (DKLD / KJD style Magnetic Switch)The Comet II utilizes a safety paddle On/Off switch (often a standard 4-terminal or 5-terminal NVR magnetic switch):Terminals 1 & 3 (Input Line): Connects to the incoming AC main power cord (Live and Neutral). Terminals 2 & 4 (Output Load): Sends AC power directly to the internal variable speed control board inputs (usually labeled L and N or AC1 and AC2). 2. Variable Speed Board to Motor RoutingThe variable speed controller rectifies the incoming AC voltage into adjustable DC voltage.Motor Outputs: Look for terminal outputs labeled M+ and M- (or A+ and A-) on the control board.Directional Toggle Switch (Forward/Reverse): The M+ and M- lines route directly through the center pins of a Double-Pole Double-Throw (DPDT) toggle switch. Flipping this switch crosses the polarity of the wires before they reach the 3/4 HP DC motor, allowing it to spin backwards.
